Scott Laughing at Grandma B

Well I guess it pays off to babysit as often as Grandma Ballard does because she definitely got the first laugh out of Scott without being tickled (which was Tyler)!!  I just got home from teaching, James was in bed and I was holding Scott, facing Grandma and she was saying something funny because all of a sudden he was locking eyes with her laughing and giggling.  We thought it was a fluke but 10 minutes later when she was saying goodbye, he did it again, to her!!  I grabbed the camera and here is the outcome!!  This is cute, but he was laughing and giggling so much more off camera!!  It made me so excited for him to start to laugh and giggle all the time!!!  Enjoy!!

I just thought I would post some pictures of Scott! He now loves his Exercise Bouncer and is starting to be able sit up with some couch pillow help!

Thanksgiving Weekend...

So Thanksgiving we went to Grandma B's house and had Thanksgiving with Mom and Dad and Grandma and Chris and Sammie!  It was fun!  I attempted to make mashed potatoes (which were a little too soupy) sweet potato swirl (which turned out ok - spicy, cajun style, but also the sweet potatoes were not cooked all the way!) a cranberry relish (which went over well) and a cherry pie (also pretty good).  It was really fun.  Sorry no photos - I guess we forgot to take our camera!  Whoops!


The next day was the Nelson boys RAMADAN, which means I was out of husband and dad for the whole day...from 9 am to midnight!  So I decided to go up to Park City and spend the day with my parents!  Chelsey, Kevin and Maverick come up too, but I don't have any pictures of them actually being there!  James had so fun playing in the snow and shooting his nerf gun!  He really loves the cabin.  It was also so fun to see my dad relaxing and playing with James and Scott!

Ok so I think this is the CUTEST thing ever.  Tyler took it with his phone...he has such a funny low belly laugh!  What can I say - it makes me laugh and cry at the same time!
