Maverick came to dinner...

Well actually Chelsey came to dinner and Maverick accompanied!  It was SOOOOO great having them.  Thanks Chels for coming over.  Scott and Maverick ate dinner together, played together, bathed together, lotioned up together, and even got a story read to them by Chelsey together.  It was so fun having them over.  We need to do this more.  Here are some pics from the night!!  We love you Scott and Mav!

So my dad bought Scott and Maverick matching Ute onesies with little red booties, but it has been really too cold to wear them without sweats and on their bottoms there is a cute little football, so you just don't get the whole effect - ANYWAY Chelsey bought the boys (Scott and Maverick) some football leggings and here we are sporting them in the said Ute outfit....I personally think he is adorable!!!!  Take a gander!  P.S. they are so great for little crawlers - totally protected his knees!!!

It's Official....Scotty is crawling!!!!!

So I know I already blogged today, but when it rains it pours, right?  Anyway, tonight after getting home from Grandma and Grandpa Nelsons house, Scott was in a great mood so I put him down to get some laundry folded.  Anyway I look back and he is actually crawling....he was crawling into James' playroom...(food for thought...a deep cleaning is in order)  Soooo I picked him up and tried his crawling snail toy - it is supposed to help babies crawl after something...anyway it totally worked and I got it all on video.  I thought I would post it so daddy can watch while he is away!  So just for journaling purposes...Scott started crawling (for reals) one day before he turned 7 months old - on St. Patrick's Day!!!!  Way to go Scott, we are so proud of you, big boy!!

So while these were loading I looked at James' baby book and in month 7 he already had 4 teeth, started crawling, and then started pulling up on things to standing....wow I forgot that James got his first tooth at 5 months.  We are on almost 7 and Scott still has no teeth...I am really fine with that!!

Ramblings....

So Tyler has left and gone to Berkley California and life here has been crazy!  He left on Sunday and already we have gone to the Insta-care and Dr.'s twice!!!!  The Docs for Scott because he has been acting weird and pulling on his ear and not sleeping well - so I thought maybe an ear infection, but no I guess he is just fine, just going through a weird sleeping change....BLARG.  Then we went to the Insta-Care when I discovered and really bad rash on James' tummy, legs, and bottom...so we went and they basically told me that it looked like a strep throat rash, but he came back negative and told me not to touch it and it should just go away...which it is now getting better...so that's good! So in reality I guess I never had to go to any doctors - whatever -

Other things....I am realizing that I will have to ask for more babysitting more than usual because I agreed to sing at 4 different things in April, which Tyler will still be gone for!  Asking always makes me a little stressed because I don't want to inconvenience anyone, especially if they are too busy or just don't want to.  I know kids are hard, especially mine, so I hate asking...plain and simple.

Anyway - Happy St. Patrick's Day all y'all...hope you get LUCKY!! (wink, wink)

This is James before Grandma Nelson took him to "Peter and the Wolf"...which he loved and couldn't stop talking about how the wolf was coming for days!  - A couple pictures down he is pretending to conduct!

Last one...a couple weeks ago, James learned how to play a Spiderman song on the piano (from yours truely)...Here he is performing it at Grandma B's....cute right?

Scott starting to CRAWL?!?!?

So our little Scotty is really trying to crawl.  Everyday he is getting closer and closer!  When I go to get him from his naps, he is always in a completely new position than the one I left him in.  I think by the time he is 7 months old he is going to be crawling for real.  (7 months is on the 18th of this month!)  I thought I would include this little video...although I took it a couple days ago and he is even better now.  Oh well - ENJOY!

Just thought I would post this...basically so I can remember - I love it when he sings!!  (Not that I want him to do it professionally - I mean, like anyone could make a living singing!!!!!)
