So I know I haven't written for a while and usually I like to post a picture too...well I thought our camera was broken for like a week - every time I took it out, turned it on, and took a picture it turned out all green. I thought maybe the color was going and that didn't make me all that happy, since this is our second sony cam in like 4 years. Turns out...it is NOT broken and it just was my little happy hands, James, flipped it to Night Vision and everything was green....so I will start taking pictures/videos again and start posting them! Stay tuned!
New Things with Scott - He is now 6 months old (actually 6 months and 2 weeks). In his 6 month doctors appointment he was almost 30 inches long, and 23.7 lbs. The computers were down so they couldn't tell me his percentile, which was a bummer, but he is thriving and that is all that matters anyway! He is a big baby, fitting into most 18 month clothing and some select brands of 24 months - you know like Carters, that fit small anyway! He is a regular sitter and is now trying to crawl. He is really really close and I think that it will happen before he is 7 months. He is very determined and I think he actually realizes that he can maybe crawl, so it won't be long! He really really loves bath time!! He loves to splash - I really should try to take him (both James and Scott) over to the swimming pool more. He is taking three solid naps a day, thanks to a book that Lindsey gave me when James was born. I finally got so fed up with him not sleeping on his own that I read it and poof! I followed it and now I have a napper! Hallelujah! He is also eating baby food, baby cereal, and wait for it.....cheerios, puffs, and small cheerio-sized crackers. Early you say??? I thought so too, but my doctor said to go ahead and feed it to him, so I did, and he is doing great! A natural professional eater!!! It is fun to watch him try to grab for the small cheerios with his whole fist.
New Things with James - He went to the Zoo with his preschool and LOVED it. He is now wanting to play with his school friends outside of school, and I am coming to the fact that I should try to be social and make some effort to call their moms. It hasn't happened yet, maybe in the near future....maybe. He is showing some interest in the piano, so I taught him his favorite song.....Spiderman! He only knows the first two lines, but he loves playing it and will play it and then change the sound on our keyboard and play it again - this action repeats several times, and it has become a wonderful babysitter for about 20 to 30 mins. Yay James. James has also been saying some really weird funny things...and I just have to write them down to remember them...ok so today I asked James if he would help me clean the house, he says, "No thank you I am really busy" I say, "Oh really, doing what" and he replies "I am really busy hibernating." The weird thing is he knows what hibernating is, but he was jumping up and down on the couch.....not hibernating!! Yesterday he yes randomly to Scott "Listen to me, if you don't behave and I will destroy Jerusalem" I think this has something to do with the Living Scriptures DVDs he is watching. Funny no?
Ok well I think that is it...at least for a while...

Rolacado Springs...
In prayers tonight, James blessed Spencer on his mission in "Rolacado Springs!" If you unscramble the letters, he totally got it right! Oh well, at least he is praying...and doing so without our help! It is so funny what comes out of him.
Also while reading stories he asked me to "Please clean up my hair" which meant that he wanted me to move my hair to the other side. I guess he was trying to put his hand on my shoulder and there was a "mess" of hair! Oh, that kid!
p.s. Thanks Lindsey for the vacuum!! I now have a clean house because of you!!!

Poop on the WALL??!!
Here I am in front of the computer...Scott is taking a nap and James is playing quietly with toys (aka - HEAVEN) James then runs to the bathroom saying he needs to poop. Usually this adventure is not that exciting and he can pretty much do it on his own now. Well about 10 min. go by and I don't hear anything, which should have been my first clue. I walk to the bathroom door, which was closed, I opened it and this is what I saw. A boy naked from the waist down standing on the bathroom stool in the dark with his red light flashing Spiderman toothbrush being shoved into the sink drain - having already removed the stopper. I turn the light on and ask what he is doing and why his pants were off. He then proceeds to tell me he pooped, wiped his butt with his sock, and smeared it all over the wall. Then he decided instead of flushing and putting his clothes back on...to go and wash his hands (which I guess is a good thing), but got distracted and pulled the stopper out of the drain and turned the lights out and started shoving the toothbrush down into the dirty abyss. Gross! Needless to say, he had to wipe up the wall himself, flush the toilet and get in the shower, because there was poop still on him and it had spread exponentially. There is one thing I can be grateful for....that he didn't wipe and flush his sock down the toilet....oh boy would that have been horrid!
